Overview

One of the most challenging issues faced by managers is how to deal with problem people and their difficult behaviours. In this course we will look at some of the most common problem behaviours faced by managers and will provide delegates with a range of strategies to deal effectively with them.

On this course delegates will learn to identify the source of problem behaviours and to generate possible solutions. They will also learn a number of communication techniques to help build your confidence in dealing with people who challenge your authority.

In addition to gaining strategies for dealing with issues such as absenteeism, non cooperation obstructive behaviour and aggressiveness, you will also learn how to help underperforming staff recover their confidence and competence in a role and to help people adapt to the demands of change within the organisation.
