Presenting To Groups

Presenting To Groups - 2 Days

Applicable For: All staff

Overview

Most people, at one time or another, are called upon to make a presentation. This could be to a group of clients or suppliers, other stakeholders or perhaps, most commonly, they may also be called upon to present internally at a company conference or a departmental meeting.

Presentations can be an opportunity to develop personally and to get noticed in a positive way, however they can also be the cause of anxiety and sleepless nights for the presenter. After all, standing up in front of a crowd goes against our most basic programming, (keep with the pack, and don’t stick your neck out, safety in numbers). How dare we have the temerity to stand out from the crowd?

Presenting should be a positive experience. For many, presenting is an enjoyable challenge, an opportunity to influence people who have a say in their work or career.

The art of delivering a great presentation is all about three things:

  • Understanding the basic rules and techniques
  • Practicing your skills often enough to build your confidence
  • Finding your own voice and style

The aim of this workshop is to show delegates how to make the very best of their natural presentation skills and to give them the opportunity to practice and develop every part of the presentation process.
